In the cliffs of the northern shore can be seen
apertures of the rock tombs, with all the trees
at the foot. Ruins of the ancient city on the
shore extend into the sea. The ruins are known
to belong to the city of Cyra an hour’s walk to
the west along a steep mountain track, and so
were probably part of its port.
