Private Voyage Itineraries Marmaris - Datca - Marmaris DAY 1 Afternoon arrival in Marmaris marina to board Gulet. Dinner will be served on board. The yacht will remain anchored in Marmaris harbour for the first night which gives you the chance to get acquainted at leisure with this seaside resort and its nightlife. DAY 2 Today we head for Arap Island where we will have lunch. After a swimming break we move on to Bozukkale, the ancient Loryma. Visit the remains of the fortress, surfing, swimming and diving are all possible from Bozukkale. An incomparable cove of its kind. DAY 3 After breakfast start engine and sail to Datca. This is one of the small coastal towns in Turkey and nearest town to Knidos ancient city. We offer an optional trip to Knidos today as gulet's logistic needs are completed. Overnight at Datca Marina or one of the nearest bays. DAY 4 After breakfast we sail to Aktur. After Lunch we are going to sail across to the northern part of the gulf. There we will stop at Bencik Bay, a narrow inlet which cuts Datca Peninsula almost in half. Overnight here. DAY 5 Today we'll push deep into Hisaronu Gulf and anchor for lunch in Selimiye Bay or Orhaniye Bay. Behind the village there is an ancient acropolis, crowned by the ruins of a Medieval castle. Further up in the hills there is a waterfall you might like to visit. We also offer an optional excursion here with jeeps. DAY 6 After breakfast sail to the Dirsek Buku. Today we are setting sail for the Bay of Bozburun. You are welcome to try your hand at managing the ship under full sails, under the guidance of skipper. Bozburun is a quiet little fishing village. It used to be the center of spongle picking along the Turkish coast. Nowadays people here earn their living in a less dangerous way by building typical broad-beamed wooden boats called "GULETTES". Overnight is at one of nearest bay of Bozburun. DAY 7 After breakfast start engine to Kadirga or Kumlubuk. After lunch a swimming break at Paradise island before docking the gulet to Marmaris Marina. Overnight at Marmaris marina DAY 8 After breakfast disembark gulet in Marmaris. Highlights of the voyage Bozukkale (ancient Loryma) with ruins of a Hellenistic fortress ashore. Serce Limani once the resting place of the “Glass Wreck” – the artifacts from which are now on display at Bodrum’s Museum of Underwarter Archaeology.
